St Francis veterinary hospital has a committed team of 21 members, a reception area and pet shop, 3 consulting rooms, 1 theatre, separate dog and cat wards, a laboratory and pharmacy area, a high care ward, a radiology ward and a contagious disease isolation ward. Our entire healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet and pet owner.
Please note all prescription refill requests will be reviewed and processed within 24 hours of our receipt of your request. In many cases, prescriptions can be filled much sooner. Please understand, however, that we are not a pharmacy. Our primary function is to provide and care for our sick patients in consult and in hospital. We would appreciate your assistance in planning accordingly by calling in advance to place your pets medication order to ensure it is ready upon your collection to reduce your waiting time.
For the wellbeing of our patients, we are unable to accept any medication back for credit.
Donations are welcome for our rescue cases, thank you for your understanding.
We strive to return all non-emergency telephone messages within 24 hours of receipt. Our veterinarians could be fully booked or dealing with an emergency, we ask for your patience and understanding. Alternatively, please send us on email: admin@stfrancisvets.co.za

Please note we do not run accounts, our aim is to provide you with the most accurate estimate for your pet’s procedure. Please feel free to discuss the costs or request additional estimates with our Practice Manager, available on admin@stfrancisvets.co.za

Full payment is due directly after your consultation with the veterinarian
Payment is due before the collection of your pets from their hospital procedures
Should your pet be hospitalised with us we require a deposit as listed on the estimate form you would need to sign. The final balance is due in full on the collection of your pet.
